(1)Ink transmissibility
The better performance of the blanket transfer ink, the better printing. If the ink transfer rate is too small, it must increase the amount of ink in the printing plate to obtain a sufficient ink layer thickness on the substrate, which will inevitably
lead to dot expansion. sublimation offset printing ink, offset sublimation heat transfer ink
(2)Elongation
The blanket with a large elongation is easy to stretch, resulting in a thinning of the rubber layer and a decrease in elasticity,
so the elongation of the blanket is as small as possible.
(3)Resilience, Durability
Resilience refers to the ability of a blanket to return to its original thickness after the pressure on its surface has
been removed. For example, occasionally two sheets of paper into the imprint, the pressure is removed and the
ability to return to the original thickness. Durability refers to the ability of a blanket to withstand the pressure,
tension and mechanical damage it is subjected to in a continuous process of printing.
(4)Oil and solvent resistance of surface adhesive layer
The rubber blanket with poor oil and solvent resistance is easy to expand after contacting with ink and solvent, so
the offset printing blanket should have good oil and solvent resistance performance, and also the surface rubber
layer of the blanket is required to have appropriate lipophilicity, which can adsorb and transfer ink well.
